How do you begin? The answer is simple: you decide to.

Hi, I’m Shannon.
About my work
I help wellness and healthcare practitioners build successful businesses. I’m here to shower small wellness businesses with love, and help people grow their practice and lifework.
I am a one-person, one-desk communication design shop focused on visual and workflow solutions for solo and small wellness & healthcare businesses. My best clients are massage therapists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, acupuncturists, yoga teachers and studios, bodyworkers, wellness centers, physical therapists, nutritionists, life coaches, wellness consultants, Rolfers, Zumba/Nia/Feldenkrais/movement professionals, astrologers, chiropractors, natural health businesses, personal trainers, chefs, energy workers, and holistic-minded medical and dental practices.
I’m passionate about clean, simple, effective communication. I believe that good design makes a difference, and I want your lifework to have the most positive and authentic impact possible. Let’s make sure your clients are hearing the message you want to send!
I have been fascinated with form and function since I was a toddler behind my mother’s artist stall in the Pike Place Market. After flirting with engineering and architecture, I studied graphic design at the Art Institute of Seattle and culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu Miami. Growing up with one foot in Seattle and the other in the historic center of Flint, Michigan, I have faith that people can shape their futures and potential, I understand the necessity of discarding outdated concepts, and I appreciate the importance of preserving the best parts of our collective foundation.
The permanent collection of the Flint Institute of Arts, the Flint School of Performing Arts, and the Griffith Observatory have deeply influenced my work and design philosophy. My core influences are the work of Georgia O’Keeffe and Edmund Lewandowski, the Seattle-area architect John Savo, and the Constructivism, Precisionism, and Futurism movements.
I am devoted to community education, support, and outreach. I’m a four-term board member and past president of the Washington State Astrological Association, and deeply involved with Meetup.com as an assistant organizer for Natural Business Networking, the Seattle Meetup Organizers Meetup organizer (chief recursive cat herder), and the founder of the Seattle Tarot Meetup, South Florida Tarot Meetup, South Florida Vital Health Meetup, and Seattle Astrology Study Meetup.
Quite a few years ago, the internet nicknamed me clover so you will see that sprinkled around my social and online usernames. I live in Miami Kirkland with my husband, our pixie-bob cat, and a pond full of ducks.

Work with me
It’s important to work with people you feel good about, and who understand your practice and your mission.
Are we a good fit?
You’re passionate about your work, know that your business has its own unique personality, need to look great to your customers (and stand apart from your competitors), have an emerging vision of what you need your website or advertising to accomplish, and are ready to invest in professional design.
You’ve been in business for a few years now, and it’s time to take things to the next level. You might feel that your business has plateaued, or that you’re paradoxically too busy and not making a proper living from your work, and something needs to change. You are smart and learn quickly, but taking care of all the back-end parts of your business is starting to become a drag on your real work.
I’m devoted to helping you succeed! I always look for the best possible solutions for your unique situation. We’ll discuss your options and help you choose the one that suits your needs. I believe in simplicity, not feature creep… less is more, and your work needs to shine, not be buried under distractions. And I will be there for you for the long haul, whether you have a large or small project.
Sound like we might be a match? Let’s talk!
Some of my branding, advertising, and consulting clients:
Shannon definitely knows her stuff. We were like kids in a candy store – always wanting one more question answered to help demystify the tweets, the posts and the feeds!

Shannon, Thank you! I get it now…. how I can use Twitter and Facebook to benefit my business. You made social media more user-friendly than anyone I’ve ever heard discuss social media. 5 minutes of you discussing Twitter demystified it for me. You’re a magnificent teacher. SO GLAD I came! Thank you!!
::Ann Whitmore, Bainbridge Island
This was one of the best organized and informationally dense events ever attended, yet very approachable. Cant wait to take the next level FB class. Shannon rocks as an instructor. Came away with a combination of a strategic overview and detailed tactics. I have an aversion to FB, but this course got me past my prejudice through understand how to utilitze FB in marketing my businesses. I highly recommend this class; its well worth the small course fee.

Thank you Shannon for the valuable information you presented with such clarity. I feel much more confident now to venture out and begin shopping for my new phone.
::Janice Williams, Seattle
Do you have a secret in how you get a two-hour meeting to feel like it lasted only fifteen minutes? The third week was great as were the first two!
::Debb, Fort Lauderdale
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud
was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
